How to become a member

Becoming a member of the Southeast Kansas Buying Club is easy. There are a few simple steps to take in the beginning.

First of all, you need to contact the New Member Coordinator Margaret George (see dear prospective member) who can guide you through the process and answer your club related questions. Also you need to read through the member handbook [on this site] and see if you are able to meet the membership requirements listed therein.

You will need to pay a membership fee of $24.00 annually in order to become a member. However, if you are interested in a “test drive” of the club we allow that too! You get to place one order without membership fees to see if this style of bulk ordering and club membership works for you. After you make your decision to join and pay your dues, you can sign up for a job to become a working member (openings vary) in order to get the “working member” discount, currently 10 percent & half-priced dues. Non-working members do not receive any discounts.

Members are responsible for participating in the club, contributing to the work of the club, including annual meetings, committees, etc. You also need to submit your order by the deadline, be aware of delivery schedules, call in to find out what time delivery is if necessary, and pick up your order in a prompt manner, bringing payment due.

It’s pretty simple to join. We are looking forward to cooperating together with you!
